Thousands Return to Israel: Ezekiel’s Ancient Prophecy Unfolds Before Our Eyes
For centuries, the Jewish people were scattered across the globe, separated from their ancestral homeland. Yet the Bible foretold a miraculous regathering—a return of God’s chosen people from the four corners of the earth.

Today, this prophecy spoken by Ezekiel is being fulfilled as thousands of Jews make aliyah, returning to Israel from every continent.
A growing wave of Jewish families and individuals are arriving in Israel, believing they are part of a divine promise. The Hebrew prophets, thousands of years ago, predicted that the Jewish people would one day return from exile.
Now, this ancient vision is unfolding in real time. Many recount that, while the decision to move was made long ago, life intervened. But now, they feel compelled to make aliyah, convinced that Israel is ready for the Jews—and that it is time to come home.
This quiet miracle echoes the voices of ancient prophets. After centuries of exile, Jews from Ethiopia, France, India, Ukraine, and many other places are returning to Israel.

This is not just a historical migration; it is the living fulfillment of biblical prophecy, confirmed by the footsteps of those arriving. Some even ask: Could this be the beginning of the final gathering before the return of the Messiah?
To understand the significance of today’s events, we must look back to the origins of Israel. Over 4,000 years ago, God called Abram (later Abraham) from Ur of the Chaldeans, promising him, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you” (Genesis 12:1-2).
Abraham’s descendants—through Isaac and Jacob (renamed Israel)—became the twelve tribes of Israel. Though chosen, the Israelites endured slavery in Egypt until God delivered them through Moses, leading them into the promised land.
Israel reached its golden age under King David and Solomon, who established Jerusalem and built the first temple. But the kingdom split after Solomon’s death, and the northern tribes were scattered by Assyria in 722 BC. Later, Babylon destroyed Jerusalem and exiled the people of Judah. Despite these hardships, God’s promises remained.

Prophets like Ezekiel spoke of a future regathering: “I will take you out of the nations. I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land” (Ezekiel 36:24). “I will make them one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel, and one king shall be king over them all” (Ezekiel 37:21-22).
This promise seemed impossible during centuries of exile. But in 1948, the modern state of Israel was reborn. Survivors of the Holocaust, refugees from Arab nations, and Jews worldwide began returning. Since then, the movement known as aliyah (“ascent” in Hebrew) has brought millions back to Israel. This return is spiritual as well as cultural—each step home is part of God’s unfolding plan.
Some of the most moving fulfillments involve tribes like Manasseh, exiled over 2,700 years ago and now returning from India. The Benet Manasha, recognized by Israel, have preserved their Jewish identity and traditions. Thousands have already made aliyah, with more waiting. Operation Dove’s Wings brought Ethiopian Jews home, many of whom had kept Jewish customs for generations despite adversity. Over 75,000 Ethiopian Jews have returned since 1991.
Jews are also returning from France, Ukraine, North America, Venezuela, and beyond, often driven by persecution, war, or economic hardship. Each arrival is a testament to faith and prophecy, with many kissing the ground in joy.
The return of the Jewish people to Israel is more than a headline—it is a sign that God’s plan is moving forward. The bones are rising, the land is coming back to life, and prophecy is being fulfilled. As we witness these miracles, we are reminded to watch, pray, and prepare for the day of the Lord.
